I’m back to XOYO tonight to see Howler. I’ve not listened to them at all but the name’s generating some buzz and they just bought out a record on Rough Trade. Tickets were a tenner so I thought why not? The best way to discover bands is to see them live after all. From what I hear they’re your standard indie-rock band, not disimilar to The Strokes so I’m hoping for a bit of fun if nothing else. Zulu Winter is another name I know but don’t KNOW. A night of great music could be in order! Or a complete flop of an evening. Time will tell. On the train to London now to meet Bethan from college and we’re going to get lunch then go bra shopping. It’s a nice feeling travelling to London in the day especially when it’s sunny outside! The guy behind me has decided to change his ringtone. Of course now would be the opportune time to scroll through all the presets on your phone!
